9 апреля на Исторической сцене в исполнении артистов оперной труппы, симфонического оркестра и хора Большого театра прозвучали опера «Алеко» и «Всенощное бдение» под руководством дирижеров Валерия Борисова и Алексея Верещагина.

В концертном исполнении оперы «Алеко» участвовали солисты оперной труппы и приглашённые артисты Большого театра: Эльчин Азизов (Алеко), Анна Шаповалова (Земфира), Алексей Татаринцев (Молодой цыган), Андрей Валентий (Старик), Ирина Долженко (Старая цыганка).

«Всенощное бдение» прозвучало в исполнении хора Большого театра и солистов Анастасии Матвеевой (меццо-сопрано), Алексея Черных (тенор) и Александра Еремеева (тенор).

21 мая также на Исторической сцене театра состоялся ещё один масштабный юбилейный концерт: на сей раз вниманию публики Большого предлагалась Вторая симфония и поэма для солистов, хора и симфонического оркестра «Колокола». Дирижёр — Филипп Селиванов. Солисты — Светлана Лачина, Бехзод Давронов, Андрей Потатурин.

On the 9th of April, the first large-scale programme in honour of the 150th anniversary of the composer’s birth included the “All-Night Vigil” and the opera “Aleko”. The performers were the orchestra, choir and soloists of the Bolshoi opera troupe. Conductors — Valery Borisov and Alexei Vereshchagin.

Soloists of the opera troupe and guest artists of the Bolshoi Theatre participate in the concert performance of the opera: Elchin Azizov (Aleko), Anna Shapovalova (Zemfira), Alexei Tatarintsev (Young Gypsy), Andrey Valenty (Old Man), Irina Dolzhenko (Gypsy Woman).

The "All-Night Vigil" was performed by The Bolshoi theatre Choir and soloists Anastasia Matveeva (mezzo-soprano), Alexei Chernykh (tenor) and Alexander Eremeyev (tenor).

On May 21, another large-scale anniversary concert also took place on the Historic stage of The Bolshoi: this time, Symphony No.2 and the poem for soloists, choir and symphony orchestra “The Bells” were offered to the attention of the audience. Conductor — Philip Selivanov. Soloists — Svetlana Lachina, Bekhzod Davronov, Andrei Potaturin
